Lindum Hockey Club was formed in the June of 2015 through the amalgamation of Lincoln Hockey Club and Lincoln Roses Hockey clubs. After a successful first season sharing our purpose built facilities at the Lindum sports ground, members of both clubs saw the benefit of coming together to create a centre of excellence for hockey in Lincolnshire.
We will never forget the roots of hockey in Lincoln – an environment that enables all to play hockey in a fun, safe and caring environment.
We will offer an environment that embraces all; never forgetting the need to provide hockey for everyone whilst challenging elite players to excel at the highest level. Our biggest asset is the club member. Our values place all club members at the heart of the club.
We field six Ladies teams, eight Men's teams and a Veterans side, playing across Yorkshire and the East of England.
The development of junior hockey players is at the heart of Lindum Hockey Club. Our aim is to provide the opportunity for young people between the ages of 5 and 18 years to develop their hockey skills in a fun, safe and exciting environment . Junior members will be coached in the whole range of skills necessary to do their best in competitions.
The club enters boys and girls teams in regional competitions, and the U'14s, U'16s and U'18s English Hockey National Club Cup. There are also numerous friendly tournaments, festivals and matches from U'9s to U'18s for boys, girls and mixed teams, and adult league teams when appropriate. When young players are ready, the club offers a development team that introduces them to league hockey in a supportive environment.
Lindum HC works within the England Hockey development structure with many of our junior players progressing through the hockey structure to represent their age group at county, regional and international level.
